Now that everyone was in the holiday moods as it was Chinese New Year. It was a long holiday for many, even my niece was having a one week holiday from school. Well, I'm getting the holiday too.
It wasn't really as nice as it used to be when I was a small child but I suppose it is as always a festival where children will enjoy most. I went visiting my relatives, and friends..but at the same time I know that someone close to me is not enjoying the day but spent the time in the hospital instead.
Anyway, I had my stomach full with lotus root soup. Why is that? Stressed, and happen to be my aunt did the lotus root soup very nice that I ate really a lot of it. 5 bowls, no joke. Can't take dinner any longer after that lunch.
Still get to see some lion dance while I was working last Saturday (in spite of me still being in my off day actually..), and watched another one on yesterday too. However, my hands were full of items that I wasn't able to be near the lion to get the goodies :)
This time around, I think I am not getting the chance of getting near the god of prosperity like last year for that ang pow pack filled with two sweets. :) haha... then again, who knows...maybe I might bump into one of them in the malls before the Chap Goh Mei. However...seems unlikely I'll be hanging out in the malls around this time. Well, see how it goes next year.
Meanwhile.....now that I realise the holiday's over...and I am sure that most are feeling it too. So back to work!! :)

Valentine's Day
Well, this has been the talk of the town when this date comes. Everywhere flowers become expensive, I saw recently a stalk at RM17. Geez.... and I'm sure some restaurants will have some special valentine package for diners on this day as well.
What I did? I had a simple lunch with my boyfriend just like a usual lunch at the mamak. However, that has been just as nice for me to spend the time as long as I can spend the time with him. Sounds mushy? nah....probably sound simple to some but it is just as meaningful to me as long as I get the time to spend with him.
Can't spend more time on it, as he is busy with the loads of work piling on him, and more so his younger brother was admitted to hospital for dengue fever.
Talk about dengue fever, I noticed every year....around February to April has always been the time I will hear dengue cases rising... I wonder if people do notice about that? Well, that is what I feel every year because this is the period of time when I always hear these cases and when I have patients coming telling me abut their flu that doesn't come down for 2 days. When comes 3 days...time to check the blood profile.
Anyway, just hope the public is alert and have precautions for mosquito breeding to be avoided around the house.
Best is...keep having enough fluid, drink 100 Plus often..and when get fever, make sure drink more fluid, plain water and 100 plus even more!!!! No appetite to eat...force to eat. That will be the only way to fight the virus from making the condition gets worse.
Anyway, hope it will be a good year this year and a nice Boar year from the day the Chinese New Year starts..... happy Valentines Day.

Chinese New Year coming!
Well...it was a busy week last week and I had a full day work on Saturday. However, something brightened up my day when I heard not far from where I was, the familiar drums and cymbals. Chinese New Year is coming...so that is something I look forward to..i.e..the Lion dance.
It happened to be lunch hour, so I went across the road from where I work, and caught the Lion dance in action. I think it was a promotion for one instant noodle brand that time as they threw some packs of instant noodles to the public other than the usual mandarin oranges.
Next day, I went to Tesco kajang..again, I had a great Sunday! Another lion dance in action. It really made my day...I have always love to watch it. It was like lifting up the mood for enjoyment from a boring tiring day.
Hope to see more of the lion dance on Chinese New Year day itself soon!!! :) Waiting to eat more sweet oranges and love letters too!

Yee Sang

It was a busy day today with scanning patients...and as I was in charge of managing patients today and scanning them...I didn't have time for lunch. Not even finished doing the reports..
However, later in the evening....I had a huge dinner. I had a 9-course chinese dinner with yee sang in advance of Chinese New Year. Not bad for having skipped lunch unintentionally. hehe... It was a nice dinner with having a good ride before that.yay!. I was driven in the BMW E60 (hmm...my dream car always. hehe) and had a really hearty meal. Abalone, sharks fins soup..everything right after the yee sang. The birds nest was cool too as dessert..the tausah pau was cute and nice. Well...I had a nice treat which was not out of my own pocket. teehee..... Nice treat.
It was at Maju Junction Mall which I have never been to after I once went there about 4 years ago!! I didn't go there since it is on a busy road in the middle of KL city. I am always around in PJ..make it even more seldom for me to go to that area. Where KL is concern, I'll probably be at Bukit Bintang most of the time. Rarely in other areas...until tonite!
Hmm..and now my head is back to thinking about the BMW E60. have you ever thought about what you want to do when you grow up, when you were once a kid? Probably you did..and did you really become what you dreamt about when you were a kid? Well.... when I think again...I wonder if I did make the right choice. haha...!! This is a pic of E60 I saw in www.BMWworld.com coz to me it looks cool. Maybe not to others...but it is to me. haha..

I guess it depends on how you accept your career line, and how well you do in your career. So some people get to go out so far that E60 is just another thing. For me, hmm.....it is a dream. Think again...sometimes it is scary too. Crime rate these days just make you scare away to even drive alone at nite..sigh... so it still doesn't matter that I don't get an E60 right? hahahaha.
Well....that is what life is all about. It is colourful..... :)

Another day
Well....now I'm putting another post. As I am waiting for the professor to come, nothing else to do, I'm back here. Thinking back to whatever I was reading in the emails, amazing to think about what goes around the world. Reading the news and stuff....geez...this world is getting old. As I have said before last year, so many things happen and I wonder if the human being realise what is really going on around us?

Anyway, I have a friend far up in Faroe Island. A nice headmaster who will tell me his side of the news from time to time. I have always love to do art painting on the sceneries where he lives. I felt there are some serenity and beauty at those islands... It felt like the time just stood still. Wishing that other parts of the world I could see the same thing which obviously not possible. Now it is still winter there and here is the picture of the place he took the shot for me.
Other than that....another incident that occured recently. The toll hike for the intercity highways. It causes unhappiness to many city people who commutes from one city to another. Well...I am included in that category. Moreso I have no choice but to travel far from one place to another and even moreso going interstate as well every week. Sometimes or I should say, often than not I just have to do that. It is just something I have to do. Maybe later on, it will change but for the time being, I have to travel around a lot and so...I'm part of the society who just have to go through paying the toll.

So some people or most people are not happy with the hike. So they had a strike last Sunday in front of IOI mall Puchong. They said that they have to go to work that have to make them go through those routes where there are tolls to pay. I wonder what or who will solve that problem? Will that be solved? I don't think so but...never know. Sometimes the G can be rather surprising in some of their decisions. Just hope things will just get better and not worse. Why should we be going through all this? Sigh....Oh well, I suppose just go with the flow eh? :)

Anyway, what else can be said....it is just the way of life.....

Then came February
Life has been busy the last few weeks..and so many happening also actually which I'd love to put them in here but...geez...time has always been limited and with the unstability of the internet connection recently, it was time consuming for me.
Anyway, there were lots of stuff which I will put in here later on. At this point of time while waiting to go for my lunch, I thought about a person who happen to be my tutor in my course. Who taught me a lot of things on scannings, though at first she looked so unapproachable but later on I find that she is actually a nice person.
The thing is we just have to go back to the old english saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover"..which always seem to be true...at least to me. Though sometimes it may not be, but usually it is....
Now she is already in Aussie, developing her career more, and well I wish her all the best. I learn a lot of things from her and hope she will do well in whatever she is doing.
Well, here I posted the simple farewell lunch we had with her. She is the one who was sitting in the front row, second from the left. The rest are all my friends in the same batch with me. We had pizza for lunch after so many choices of restaurants..in the end, we ended up calling pizza delivery and ate at our pantry instead. haha...
Anyway, it was good and well....I hope she will succeed in whatever she is doing, all the best to her in Aussie...and all the best to all my friends and me..haha....we will go on our own ways in 3 months time. This togetherness may be hard to happen again after May this year.
